Babe Ruth

Babe Ruth, or George Ruth, was and still is the biggest icon in baseball history. In his 22 year career he as hit over 700 home runs. In the 1920's alone he hit over 400 home runs. He was every kids dream that played baseball.

Inventions

The 1920's I would say, was the beginning or the now. most of what we take advantage of today, was invented in the 1920's.

Such as The Lie detector , Insulin invented, The first 3-D movie, Traffic signal, The electric refrigerator, The radio, And the yo-yo.

Flappers

The flappers was a fad. Or fashion for the young women of the 1920's. it was quoted "A break away from the old set of values" A revolution it seemed to be. A new generation of women. After world war I, solders expected to come back to the old world they left behind. they were sadly mistaken. It was a big step for women, almost like a freedom.

Chain Stores

After "The Great War" or World War I, People looked and said sky's the limit. With the improvement of food preservation, such as canned goods and frozen meat, it was time for a revolution in they way we Buy things. All though Chain stores didn't fully arrive until the 1930's, everything such as the preservation of food in the 1920's lead up to that.

Louis Armstrong

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louis became the rage in the 1920's in the music industry. At age eleven, Louis was inspired my music from his home street corners of New Orleans. In the 1920's, Louis was revolutionizing the way jazz was played and heard. In ways that was unheard of in jazz. In one way with the extended solo's. Before, Jazz was played in orchestrated arrangements. In a loosely way. He will always be loved by many, and forever a part of history.
